A aerator pump adds oxygen to water. It pulls water from a pond, tank, or wastewater channel and forces it through air or across the surface, breaking it into droplets. This process permits the mixing of the water with air oxygen.

The pump does two jobs at once. First, the spinning impeller or screw moves water, stopping stagnant zones where algae grow. Second, the stream of bubbles or spray boosts gas exchange, raising oxygen levels fast.

Solar-powered units from SAMKING Pump do this work without grid electricity. Panels feed direct-current motors from 300 W to 20 kW, covering garden ponds up to large aquaculture farms. Surface or submersible, plastic or stainless-steel impellers, and 0.75″ to 3 inch outlets are available to the user. Heads extend to 450 m hence deep wells can be pumped out before being aerated.
