Motor Pumps

+ Sunlight falls on solar PV panels

Photons present in the sunlight displace electrons present in the solar cells that solar panels are made of. This flow of electrons produces an electric current in the form of DC power.

The DC electricity is sent to a controller (and an inverter if needed), which powers the motor. For DC motors, the power flows directly. For AC motors, a solar inverter converts the DC to AC.
