FAQ's About Samking

A 1 hp (or, say, 0.75 kW) solar pump should be able to pump the water in wells approximately 70 to 130 m deep with a hydraulic design and pipe friction. Rated submersible sets have a maximum head of 80 m (262 ft), and a low-flow type, suitable for narrow bores, has a 120 m (400 ft) maximum head. The highest-head 1 hp unit we found is certified for 155 m (510 ft). Remember, these figures refer to total dynamic head (TDH)—the vertical lift plus all friction losses—so always measure from the static water level to the outlet, not the ground surface.

If you use a surface pump, true suction is limited to around 6 m; the rest of the rise is handled on the pressure side.

SAMKING Pump’s 1 hp screw or centrifugal submersibles fit within the 70–130 m zone and are available in DC-only or AC/DC hybrid formats, with built-in or external controllers and plastic or SS304 impellers. Higher-power models in the same line extend to 450 m, giving flexibility for deeper boreholes. Confirm TDH, desired flow and solar-array size with your installer before placing an order.
