FAQ's About Samking

In normal circumstances, you can expect around 60 to 100 m (200 to 330 ft) of water to be pushed. Specifications available at the time of publication show a multistage centrifugal mill of maximum head 207 ft and a screw-type unit rated at 328 ft. Manufacturers also note that performance is most efficient in the 200 – 300 ft zone, where flow remains steady.

Head equals the vertical rise plus pipe friction. Horizontal runs usually add only a few feet of head, so with the right pipe size, the same pump can push water more than a kilometre across flat ground. SAMKING Pump’s 1 hp screw or centrifugal submersibles sit in this range and are available as DC-only or AC/DC hybrid units. Match the pump curve to your total dynamic head, then size the solar array or grid supply at roughly 1.3 × the motor wattage to keep the system operating safely.
